Project objective

 

The project objectives are to reduce incidence of human trafficking through enhancement of capacities of women and girls and to support mainstreaming of 10 girl trafficking survivors through building resilience in them

 

 

Major Activities with Expected result

 

540 poor girl students and 360 extremely vulnerable women and girls are capable of identifying the tricks of the traffickers and can protect themselves from being trafficked

The trained women and girls are capable of taking  appropriate decisions on their future

10 girl trafficking survivors are more resilient to confront the adversities

10 girl trafficking survivors are mainstreamed into the society

Seven Unions under Sarsa Upazila of Jessore district.

Project Objective

 

1. Being Motivated through awareness intervention and reached by the projects referral services 80% of the targeted vulnerable people will be provided with information support and referral service  by linking them with existing service providers both at GO and none government sector .

2. During the project period 80% of the directly reached population will be able to describe clearly the human trafficking and migration issue.

3. Prevention protection and persecution initiatives by the community people will be increased substantially with at least 50% of identified cases of migration fraudulence and human trafficking officially recorded and addressed by the concerned authority.
