Project Duration: November 2019-April 2022
Project Objective: To improve social and economic wellbeing of men and women who have escaped trafficking by using direct assistance provided by the project.
Project Beneficiaries: Trafficking Survivors (Male and Female)
Project Location: Jashore district (4 Upazila)
Key activities:
- Survivor Identification with documentation and Enrollment
- Psychosocial counselling support to individual/group/family/community and trauma counselling support by experts
- Refer legal case for follow up and support
- Coordination meetings with service providers at district level
- Develop CTIP activists on Human Trafficking, migration, Survivor service, Survivor identification, referral mechanism
- Capacity development of union/subdistricts/districts CTIP activists
- Dialogue with local government and local administration
- Develop tools and technique of outreach activities, Innovative community dialogue
- Interactive dialogue with schools/ madrasa students
- Orientation session with at risk group of trafficking at community level
- District level convening of CTIP activists & Anirban/ Peer Leader
Project Results:
- Men and women who have escaped trafficking improve their social and economic well being by using direct assistance provided by the project
- Institutions are made more accountable and effective in providing services beneficial to men and Women who have escaped Trafficking.
